She sends me a picture of her feet,
Each morning from the bus stop
These feet that have carried her
Into a new place
Towards navigating new situations
New friendships
Forward
She keeps moving forward
I’m so proud of these feet…
My girl.

That’s fascinating. Which of the girls is this?
You might have a 180 Days of Feet collection by the end of this year! (Feels like a book concept.)
Love your poem as a tribute to the feet moving her forward in life.

I hope she keeps sending them…it’s Wren!

I love that idea! She is letting you know she is thinking of you, and that she is ok. My youngest has gone weeks without contact. (He is 27.) I remember telling him I just need a text that says something like”been busy but I’m okay”. The feet picture does that!!

I have so many pictures of my feet in shoes on sidewalks. I love that your daughter sends you these.

She’s got some cool sneakers on those feet. Clare has been in Europe this week and sends her step count each day. Sort of similar!
