We see evidence of the 200 bulbs planted in the fall
Their green arms, pushing through the dirt
Each day, getting closer and closer to the sun.
Today, we awoke to the sun
It called us outside
Pushing out the door
For a closer look
To feel the warmth on our skin
We hugged our jackets closer
A shield from the wind
The hope of spring is near
We can feel it

This is hopeful and wholesome. Hope Spring brings more bloom! 🙂

C’mon bulbs! I’ve been cheering for them extra hard this spring, and I’m ready for some purple and gold! Love the moment captured in a poem form.

I like to think I feel it too, though the truth is I just see it. The sun feels like spring, but the temperature, not so much.

Woke to sun today and feel that call outside too! I also will need to wear a coat but can’t wait to feel the sun upon my face.

I like how you personified the flowers as having arms!
Fingers crossed for a colorful scene soon!
