A random trip to Home Depot on this blustery snow day ended with another round of Paint Chip Poetry. It has been a few years since we explored this type of poetry, but it turned out to be a nice addition to our day!

I’ve never tried Paint Chip Poetry. Feels like something right up my alley (along with nail polish name poetry… OPI has some doozies!)
Enjoy the snow day!

Love love love! I used a bit of paint chip inspiration when we did a colour-based version of “Where I’m From” this year. May have to pull some of these out again soon.

I love sharing paint chip poetry over the years with teachers. The results from children are always a wonderful surprise. It appears that your students are interested in choosing the colors and writing poems. Best of luck.

Such a delightful way to play with words! You make me want to visit the paint chip cards soon. I’ve also done it online, but it’s not nearly as much fun as manipulating the actual chips.
